Biography
Colonel (ret) Mace Carpenter served 34 years in the Air Force as a fighter pilot and strategist. He served in Operations DESERT STORM, NORTHERN WATCH, SOUTHERN WATCH, ALLIED FORCE, and IRAQI FREEDOM. As an associate professor at National Defense University he taught the energy industry study, military strategy and logistics, and advanced strategy. He holds 4 masters degrees and is ABD for a PhD in Political Science. Carpenter is currently the transition manager and an analyst in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Operational Energy-Innovation.
