Abstract

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), known as “forever chemicals”, are significant environmental contaminants affecting militaries, communities and industries globally. Existing liquid treatment technologies often concentrate PFAS, leading to costly and energy-intensive disposal challenges. Aquatech will present an innovative system that offers an economically and environmentally sustainable solution for onsite PFAS destruction. This presentation will highlight the technology's ability to break carbon-fluorine bonds, showcasing data from successful trials and commercial deployments across Europe, the U.S., and Australia.
