BUQ Training - Office of Research & Innovation
sUAS Training
A single required stand-alone four-hour Basic UAS Qualification (BUQ I/II) course is to be taken via the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Manager website (SUASMAN Login). Go to this website, request the access, and complete the course when access is authorized (within a couple of days).
If you experience any difficulty, contact Ms. Kim Censabella, HQ AFSOC/A3OU, at kimberly.censabella.1.ctr@us.af.mil or (850) 884-8022.
Once you completed the course, save the course certificate as BUQ_Certificate_Surname.pdf and email it to NPS_UAS_Ops@nps.edu with "BUQ Certificate" in the subject line.
Note, this course is equivalent to the SOCOM-US796 (BUQ I) and SOCOM-US841 (BUQ II) courses that were previously available at Department of Defense Joint Knowledge Online website but have now been rescinded.
