• 1 pod on 1st floor, 1 on 2nd

• Should be at least 2 students

Open Collaborative Workstations

• First come, first served
• 1st Floor: 3 workstations 

• Seats up to 6
• Two display monitors
• Wireless, and 1 HDMI connection. 
• Wireless presenters installed.

Interactive Whiteboards: eno

• First come, first served
• Download pen drivers (NPS login required)
• On the 1st Floor & in the Design Sp@ce

• Project your laptop onto whiteboard
• Make notes with dry-erase marker or digital ink
• Save, print, or email your digitally marked up boards

Individual, Quiet Study Spaces

• 15 computer workstations
• Study carrels (with no computers)
• On the 1st and 2nd Floors
• Quiet study on the 2nd Floor along windows on each side of the public elevator
• Cell phone free zones

Design Sp@ce 

• You can make reservations one week in advance (mark it on the large calendar in the Lower Level) or

• Located on the Lower Level

• Seats up to 7 comfortably (more if you are standing)
• Reconfigure the space to meet your needs: stand up, sit down, move the tables & chairs!
• Open collaborative workstations with plasma screens

• Interactive whiteboard: connect laptop to board (download drivers)
• Outlets, wifi
• Floor to ceiling glass writing surfaces

Restricted Resources Study Space

• For NPS students, faculty, staff, and visiting groups to NPS on official business
• Must be properly credentialed through the NPS Security Office
• Must be U.S. citizens
• On the 1st Floor

• Seats up to 8
• Plasma screen, white board
• Access to secure, classified network
• Word processing, spreadsheet and Matlab
• Photocopier for classified and unclassified copying

Room 221 is available for nursing mothers.

• Private room
• Capacity 1, or mother and child
• Cupboards, electricity, water
• Refrigeration/freezer available in separate room for short-term storage

No key needed. Reserve via the library's reservations tool.

More nursing mothers' rooms are available on campus at:

• Spanagel 110
• Glasgow 123

You can reserve these rooms via the NPS Event Scheduler (must be on the VPN).

Student Lounge

There's a student lounge located on the first floor of the library that is equipped with:

• Refrigerators
• Coffee Machines
• Toaster Oven
• Microwave

You can schedule a study room elsewhere on campus! The NPS Event Scheduler allows you to reserve rooms across campus. Please note you must be on the VPN to use it.
